We seek an experienced leader to guide our integrated school through a period of growth. The teaching Principal will work with a primary faculty of three other teachers and a school roll of 38.
He or she will:

• Be passionate and knowledgeable about Steiner education.
• Be experienced and skilled in school management.
• Have leadership experience and a willingness to work within a collegial management process.
• Have a sound knowledge of current standards in curriculum and assessment.
• Be committed to student achievement and helping students to reach their full human potential.
• Have excellent communication skills to build effective relationships with our school's community.

Start date negotiable between July 2010 and January 2011.

While the recruitment of the new Principal is under way we seek an experienced Steiner teacher to take our composite class 2/3. This would be a temporary position for term 3 (19 July - 24 September) and possibly also term 4.

The school is a member of the Federation of Rudolf Steiner Schools in New Zealand. Our site is in Maia, looking out across Dunedin Harbour to Taiaroa Head. We have two kindergartens, five playgroups, and a primary school offering a full Steiner curriculum to classes 1-7 (years 2 - 8).
